On April 25, composer Yuri Butsko died in Moscow at the age of 76.

Yuri Markovich Butsko was born in 1938 in the city of Lubny, Poltava region, after the war the family moved to Moscow, where he studied at a music school, and then at the History Faculty of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute, from where he left after two courses to continue music classes.
