There are two toilets

BBC correspondent Steve Rosenberg published a photo from the men's toilet at the Sochi 2014 press center. Two adjacent toilets in the photo caused a strong reaction on social networks amid discussions about banning the promotion of homosexuality.

The photo was picked up by the Dozhd TV channel, Alexei Navalny and Western journalists, quickly making it viral.

As it turns out, paired toilets are not uncommon in Russia. For example, the chain of Japanese restaurants “Two Sticks” and other establishments are known for having restrooms with two toilets.
