Medvedev’s speech on the occasion of Constitution Day would have remained unnoticed and of no interest to anyone, if not for Roman Dobrokhotov. Actually, even Dobrokhotov did not make this performance at all entertaining. But Dobrokhotov’s performance was excellent. And most importantly, short and succinct: “Shame on the amendments!” That, in fact, is all that should have been said on Constitution Day, and it was not Medvedev who said it, but Dobrokhotov.

In general, everything in this story is wonderful in its own way. It’s great that an ordinary person, it turns out, can still attend the president’s speech and shout something to him from the audience. Oh, the FSO officers have raked! Oh, the press service must have screwed it up!

The condescending Medvedev was also wonderful, who, seeing how Dobrokhotov’s hands were being tied, apologetically stopped the guards - they say, don’t touch this man, that’s why the Constitution was written, so that they too could speak out, such disgraceful people.

It is also wonderful that, despite the order of the Commander-in-Chief, Dobrokhotov was still dragged out under white hands.

It is no less remarkable that, having brought him to the department, they could not understand for what and what responsibility they could hold a guy who, in front of the whole country, rudely interrupted not just anyone, but just who! No article found!

Dobrokhotov is a regular at the Kitaygorod police department. So Roman says that they have never been so inexpressibly polite and friendly with him. The head of the department himself treated him to coffee. They called the boss from the Kremlin and asked him not to offend the young man - what’s not great?

Well, at the end of the day, Dobrokhotov was fired from the radio station “Moscow Speaks” due to staff reduction. The next day they fired me. As far as I understand, he is the only one who has been laid off so far. Which, undoubtedly, perfectly complements the plot of this wonderful story.

To be honest, Dobrokhotov acted uncivilly. After all, is it right to stand up in the middle of a speech of a respected person, interrupt him, or shout? No, probably not. But did he really have another option? And he was lucky that by some miracle he ended up at that meeting. How can Medvedev convey his position to other citizens?

The authorities do not communicate with the people on these direct lines and similar shows. They are talking to themselves. They come up with questions themselves, ask them to themselves through the mouths of specially trained “simple milkmaids and turners” and answer them themselves. In these productions, the people play the role of a wall into which a tennis player throws balls during training. The wall does not play with him, it plays for him, plays along, allows him to hone his skills. The wall is an inanimate object. The same inanimate objects are all these citizens at ceremonial meetings, tea parties on submarines and advanced cattle depots.

The trouble is that over so many years, the bosses seem to have begun to think that this is the people, that they are all like this, that there is no other, there will not be and cannot be. That is why they are so surprised, frightened and made furious by the slightest manifestations of a sudden deviation from the Vertical. Therefore, any March of dissent is suppressed in a ratio of 3:1. For each participant there are three policemen and riot police - this is the minimum. If these 500 dissenters had passed, no one would have noticed. But they decided to beat them every time, pull them by the hair, and do things like hooliganism. And in this sense, Dobrokhotov was lucky again. They couldn’t (although they probably wanted to) beat him with a baton in front of all the honest people. And in the department they could no longer give him a good beating - again, because now the whole world knows about him. But it’s easier to fire someone due to redundancy. In general, they did what they could. We listened to Roman Dobrokhotov, gave him some coffee - and go ahead, Roma, read your Constitution further.
