A photo of the Russian Minister of Agriculture was retouched on a Serbian business jet

The image of a business class aircraft was removed from the official photograph of Russian Minister of Agriculture Nikolai Fedorov. Novaya Gazeta reports this.

The Ministry of Agriculture website published a photograph on a page with the headline “Nikolai Fedorov arrived in Germany to participate in the traditional “agrarian Davos”.” As Novaya Gazeta found out, the official image differs from the original photo: for unknown reasons, a small business class aircraft 550 Citation II Bravo Cessna was painted black, hiding it from prying eyes.

As the publication notes, the plane clearly does not belong to the agricultural aviation fleet: probably, they tried to hide the fact of using a business class plane with retouching. Novaya suggests that the published photos were taken for the upcoming Green Week forum in Germany, although thanks to information from the EXIF ​​photos, it is known that they were taken on January 17, 2013.

As noted by Lenta.ru , which manually reviewed the photo feed on the Ministry of Agriculture website, no footage from the airfield was published during last year’s “agricultural Davos” in Germany. By manually searching through image URLs on the website, the publication was able to find several images confirming that Fedorov was using the aircraft, judging by the tail numbers registered in Serbia.

Apparently, after the Novaya Gazeta article appeared, the photograph disappeared from the Ministry of Agriculture website: as of 12:00 on January 7, the photograph was no longer on the original page.

If Fedorov's department wants to achieve significant success in Photoshop, lessons need to be taken from recognized experts: the Russian Orthodox Church, which removed the watch from the Patriarch's hand, and the Moscow official who removed snow using Photoshop .
