Today, at a meeting with Putin in the Kremlin, Roman Abramovich asked the president to terminate his powers as governor of Chukotka, Ekho Moskvy reports. True, Abramovich promised not to abandon Chukotka and to continue economic projects aimed at improving life in the region. According to the head of state's press secretary, Alexei Gromov, the president has not yet made a decision regarding Abramovich's resignation.
