The future of the European Union is in doubt

Nothing unexpected happened - opinion polls have been recording for more than a month the persistent reluctance of the French to recognize the need to adopt a new Basic Law. Both far-right and left-wing parties opposed it. Now they are celebrating victory. In fact, according to many observers, the outcome of the vote was decided by the general distrust of the French in their own government. Therefore, today there is a very high chance that it will be dismissed. True, this will no longer affect the fate of the Constitution.
