This year's Easter celebration will go beyond the territory of churches and monasteries. More than 200 Easter events will be held in parks, museums, cinemas and cultural centers of the capital.

Festival "Forty Forties"
From May 5 to 11, concert programs of the spiritual arts festival “Forty Forties” will be held near the walls of Moscow churches and monasteries. Moscow belfries will take part in it. On May 5, a bell gala concert will take place at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Performances by church choirs, a children's entertainment program, excursions to churches, and painting of Easter eggs are planned.

“Easter Egg Festival” An installation will appear on Kuznetsky Most on May 5 – 20 human-sized Easter eggs, which will be painted by contemporary artists. A year ago, when the event took place on Lavrushinsky Lane, Evgenia Miro, Alexander Zakharov, Andrey Sharov, Veronika Ponomareva and many others took part in the project, working on painting Easter eggs, creating unique works of contemporary art right in front of the townspeople. Art project “Table of Peace” On May 5, Easter, at 12-00, a half-kilometer-long Table of Peace will appear on the pedestrian street Kuznetsky Most, and Kuznetsky Most itself will turn into a Creative Workshop. At the Peace Table there will be master classes on ceramics, pottery, sewing, sculpture, ornaments, Easter eggs painting, and doll making, in which everyone can take part. At 15:00, Moscow's leading restaurants will set the Table of Peace and invite everyone to try a festive treat. The evening program will continue with a performance by VIA “Tatyana”.

Charity festival “White Flower” On May 12, the charity festival “White Flower” will take place on Kuznetsky Most Street in the center of Moscow, organized by the Orthodox aid service “Mercy”. The main event of the holiday will be a charity fair. All funds raised during the event will be used to care for children, seriously ill people, disabled people and provide patronage work for nurses of the Mercy service. Everyone who wants to take part in the fair is invited to bring their own crafts, souvenirs and toys, which can be made in any way - embroidered, knitted, woven, made of felt, painted on glass, etc. You can bring crafts and souvenirs for the fair every day from 10.00 to 20.00 at the address: st.
