The results of the operation were for Israel by failure. Not only states of the Arab world (which is quite expected), but also the governments of European states made extremely sharp statements. Moreover, the UN Security Council adopted a resolution with the condemnation of Israel, and the United States did not prevent this. In general, it seems that the whole world is stamping the "bloody Israeli military." Conditions are created not only for the new intifada, but also for the international isolation of Israel.

There are so many emotions around me that I had a desire to simply list well -known facts (excuse me, readers). In 2006, the Hamas terrorist organization, which openly proclaimed the destruction of the state of Israel, won the victory in Palestine elections. This organization does not hide its responsibility for regular shelling of Israeli territory. She began with a busy “Casam” with a range of 8-10 kilometers, but soon got rockets with a range of 45 kilometers of Iranian production. In response, Israel introduced the blockade of the gas sector, control over which Hamas exercises. As a result of the operation of the Israeli armed forces in the gas sector in late 2008 - early 2009, many buildings were destroyed, including residential buildings, hospitals and schools. The restoration of everything requires about $ 2 billion. But the problem is not in money. Saudi Arabia alone is ready to invest a billion. The point is the blockade. Israel insists on its right to inspect everything that goes to Gaza. And, moreover, on the right to prevent some categories of peace of peace. In particular, the pipes of a certain diameter, about fertilizers containing ammonia nitrate. It is clear why. The pipes are quite suitable for missile buildings, and the residents of Moscow and Dagestan are well aware of Selitra (alas, the main component of homemade explosives.

If Hamas were seriously interested in restoring the Gaza, in organizing more or less tolerable living conditions for its inhabitants, then the rules of transit could be agreed. But this is not the main goal. The main goal is the destruction of Israel. And therefore, the worse the gas lives, the better. Moreover, really terrible living conditions in the sector make it possible to talk about the collective punishment of an entire people. Which cannot but cause a response to the compassionate Europe.

It is quite obvious that the purpose of the “flotilla of the world” was not the delivery of 10,000 tons of humanitarian goods to gas. Mikhail Voitenko remarkably explains in his blog that to solve this, more than modest problem, five ships were not required, including a cruise airliner. The task was different - defiantly break through the Israeli blockade, provide the possibility of uncontrolled transfer of any cargo into gas. Combining the task and performers. The missing activists located on the liner were somewhat different from ordinary human rights defenders. And not only by the fact that for the humanitarian operation they were stocked up by sharpening, bats and pieces of reinforcement. Israeli accusations are somewhat doubtful that he attacked a humanitarian convoy in neutral waters. Here is what Allen Weiner, professor at the University of Stanford, a lawyer of the State Department, thinks about this: “Israel said that he was at a war with Hamas. According to the laws of warfare, the blockade is allowed. And it can be implemented in international waters. ”

So, the humanitarian convoy was an obvious provocation. The Israeli commandos had the right to stop the ships. But all this does not justify the frankly clumsy work of those who planned this operation. The press claims that Israeli agents were among the "activists". So why were the paratroopers not ready for the fact that they would be met by sharpening and reinforcement? Why did only a few servicemen landed on a ship where 700 aggressive people were located, who were instantly crushed? Why wasn't the situation in advance that they will have to shoot? Why, finally, was not calculated an international reaction?

And this is not the first failure of those who plan Israeli law enforcement shares. Let us recall at least a grand scandal that arose after the liquidation of one of the Khamas commanders in Dubai. The point here, I suspect, is not only in the suddenly fallen level of professionalism (although this is taking place). It is a matter of unwillingness to understand the obvious reality. Contrary to grandfather Krylov in the eyes of the world community, now strong is always to blame. The weak, if he was three times and cooked, has a presumption of innocence. Especially if he hides behind the backs of civilians. Therefore, the explanations regarding the unfortunate paratroopers who landed on a ship armed with pintball rifles will be rejected as hypocritical. It may be liked or not, but it is. It seems to me that it is pointless to reproach human rights activists who freely or involuntarily become victims of manipulations by terrorists. They see their task in protecting all humiliated and offended. When asked why they do not consider it necessary to defend the inhabitants of Israel, on the territory of which one year and a half thousand missiles fall, human rights activists reply that the local state is fully coping with this task.

Does this mean that you should follow terrorists? No, doesn’t mean. This means that those who develop and carry out counter -terrorism operations should work carefully. Wet in the toilet, trying not to spray the walls.
