On April 25, at the festival of fascinating science, the celebration of the seven years of the newspaper “Trinity version is science” took place . Members of the Redsovet summarize the holidays .
Sergey Popov : If it is rare to go offline, it is doubly useful to go there. TRV-hobby exists without an editorial premises, meetings, planner, etc. Editors and authors are more often found at rallies and protests. But not only on them. Scientific and popular lectures are another place where you can get together.
It can be annoyed that there were few people at the lectures, but in Moscow, spoiled by such events, this is now not uncommon, but here the number was largely compensated by the quality. There were many good questions, and I had to stop their flow so as not to get out of the schedule (we left at 10 pm).
The subject of presentations covered a lot: cosmology, biology, and genetics and history with archeology. This also reflects the wide theme of the interests of the newspaper itself. I hope that in the future readers will be more actively entering offline. After all, the reader of the TRV-hunger is not alive.
Maxim Borisov : He celebrated all the previous birthdays of the TRV-hunger as part of the Polit.ru lecture cycle, and this time they decided to an experiment and changed the site. In principle, it is useful in order to attract some completely new audience, but the festival of fascinating science was oriented primarily on younger schoolchildren coming with parents, with all sorts of crafts, simple physical experiences and children's books lying on numerous trays. As a result, in a huge institute lecture hall, drafts were happy to clap their heavy doors and some whimpering peanuts rushed ...
In the morning I visited the lecture by Vladimir Vladimirovich Sperantov “Three Optics Languages”, not without the pleasure of staring in the darkness for colorful experiments with lasers performed by exotic laboratory assistants (see http://uvlekfest.ru/node/10 ). Then - at the presentation of the Cat Schrödinger. And only after that, the Trinity began to be pulled up.
If you distract from the desired age of the listeners, the lecture of Mikhail Gelfand about “a little Neanderthals” seemed to be the most exciting - there was an optimal ratio between the general acquaintance with the material and interesting new data in recent years (it is especially valuable that the lecturer himself put a hand in these research). It is difficult for me to evaluate the lecture by Boris Stern because of his own preliminary “immersion” in this material, and the performance of Evgeny Sheval “Living Cage: the Order from Chaos” seemed aimed to the student audience more likely, with details interesting to those who are going to specialize in biology. It is a pity that this time Sergey Popov remained “on the patch”, but he gives his lectures so often that it is not difficult to visit them and on other days.

In general, I got the impression that a large number of our regular readers and listeners prevented an unfamiliar platform, the need for preliminary registration and some disagreement in indicating the place and time of the events. Most of the organizers (who went to such ridiculous translucent hoodies) knew nothing about the lectures of the TRV, but they were hanging papers at the stands and doors with great late. If someone came for the “birthday” at 12 o’clock, then he could easily get lost, could alert the abundance of young children and hit the absence of any pointers at the lecture. The only thing that unequivocally indicated the presence of the “Trinity Option” was the invariable stacks of free newspapers at the entrance ...
