“Trinity option is science” and members of the Redsovet newspaper Boris Stern, Mikhail Gelfand and Sergey Popov became nominees for a new award established by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Among the candidates for the award, our authors are Alexander Markov and Vladimir Surdin, as well as the projects that we wrote about more than once, - the scientific cafe Eureka (Novosibirsk) and Public Lectures Polit.ru. We will learn the names of the laureates on the day of the newspaper - February 10, 2015.
The expert council of 30 scientists, popularizers and journalists selected laureates by ranking voting in six nominations: “Best Television program about science”, “Best print media about science”, “Best Internet project about science”, “Best Scientific and Science Project of the Year”, “Popularizer of the Year”. The award is intended to encourage media representatives and new media, writing about science for a wide audience.
