A decade is rapidly coming to an end. We, the editors of the colts, and before that the Openspase, passed it with you step by step. We have been working for more than ten years, and this gives us the right to summarize their results - more precisely, ask for you, our readers.

Who defined this decade? What people moved him? Who is the post -fact - or right now - can work as its symbol? You can determine this for yourself and for everyone by taking part in the vote of “more than ten. Choose the heroes of the decade. "

However, we want to warn you: heroes are not necessarily “well done”. In our lists there are people with a variety of positions. But all of them, from our point of view, “made” the decade.

We took them away in the editorial office, as if we were considered necessary. The editor of each section below explains his principles of selection. Voting is on November 20 and ends at midnight on December 18.

How to vote

1. Choose from one to three people who seem to you (namely you) with iconic figures that have determined for you the era of 2008-2019 in Russia. You may like them or not like them: the place that they occupied in cultural and public life and in your thoughts is important.

2. You can vote only once.

3. Please be honest: any attempts at technological wrappers will be monitored and suppressed.

When will the result be known

The voting results will be announced on Colta.ru on December 20, 2019.

We will be very happy if you, remembering with us everything that surrounded us since 2008, is what we wrote about, and you read and argued, you want to stay with us further. Anna Golubeva: How I made up this list

It was not difficult to make this list: the names of the media people are heard, and if some of you suddenly are unknown, then you probably used the fact that this person came up with and created, which has invested in one way or another. These journalists, publishers, media -investors, media -investors created, rethought, restarted, created and create media, media -storage, media schools, media services, or even whole ecosystems, which we have encountered in one way or another in the last 10 years. It was much more difficult to reduce this list-in my opinion, it should be three times longer. I had to delete many of the names that are important to the recent history and dear to me personally - and to limit myself to a tough and, of course, the unfair minimum of those without whom it is impossible to imagine the tenth media . Well, I leave you the most difficult thing - to choose from this list of only three.
