Former State Duma deputies Denis Voronenkov and Maria Maksakova have become almost the main characters of the Russian media in recent days - unless, of course, Donald Trump and Michael Flynn. Voronenkov was put on the federal wanted list after he received Ukrainian citizenship and testified to the involvement of the former President Viktor Yanukovych to attack Russia on Ukraine. Maksakova, it seems, did not give any evidence and did not change citizenship, but as the wife of the Motherland, he fears to appear in Russia. In general, everything is like in 1937.
The first - as it should be in 1937 and subsequent Soviet years - journalists see. Until recently, at the "interfacing" wedding of Voronenkov and Maksakova, these two Duma pets, the entire lower tent walked, and the future main intelligence officer Naryshkin looked at the future main traitor with a fatherly look. Now it turned out that Voronenkov was no worthy member of society, but a corrupt official and a rogue, and even a traitor. What such a person did for so many years in the State Duma, and even in her security committee, no one explains. But, excuse me, this is exactly what the deputies of the most advanced in the world of parliament say liberal journalists or even Navalny. Crooks and thieves. Or in order for the patriots to understand this, the deputy must wash away?
Another accusation that Voronenkov is brought in in Russia is not even an accusation, but a denunciation: he voted for the annexation of Crimea. So either let the “right sector” come and kill him - or let him admit that he voted dishonestly. Dear colleagues, do you really think that deputies vote honestly? What if they tell them tomorrow to vote for the accession of Crimea to Turkey, and Buryatia - to Mongolia or vice versa, will they vote? Vote. And they will also come with foam with joy, as it was “dad” invented wonderful. Only the one who runs to Ulan Bator will be indignant.
But if you are a different opinion about the possibilities and beliefs of the State Duma deputies, then why do you assure us and yourself that Voronenkov cannot testify to Yanukovych's betrayal, since he is no one to call him. And no one he is just because the deputy - because in Russia can a deputy know something other than gossip. But this is exactly what not only opposition journalists are convinced of, not only Navalny, but also most Russians: these deputies are nobody to call them in any way. Any small clerk in the Putin administration knows more and decides more. But if one of the deputies shared with the Ukrainian investigating authorities what the familiar clerk told him, what's wrong with that? In the deputy activity of Mr. Voronenkov, at least some meaning appeared unexpectedly.
And it was precisely the appearance of this meaning that Denis Voronenkov turned into an enemy of that same people, whose friend and chosen one he was considered, so far meaninglessly pressed the meaningless buttons in a meaningless building in the center of the meaningless capital of a meaningless country.
The act in Russia is the main enemy of meaninglessness. Only the enemy can be capable of an act here.
The act is the real enemy of the people.
