Perhaps it is even good that this is our human nature: we are never satisfied with what has been achieved. Skeptics, looking at rallies on the Pushkin and New Arbat, will tell you that the euphoria of the December protests has come to naught in early spring, that the "party" of the dissatisfied will decrease every day and will soon cease to pose a danger to the authorities. But I would remind those who believe in the coveted stability that several dozen people went out a few months ago - and the power with some manic persistence dispersed these several tens, beat, packed in auto -zats; A little more - and would declare crazy, not understanding their happiness to live in the era of "tandem".
Yes, it was the same power as today, - rudely shoved on the triumphal Lyudmila Alekseeva, who beat journalists, to whom the senior police chief was not going to the hospital ward. This was the power of the soulless and meaningless robots who did not even suspect the existence of politics that did not pay attention to anyone. And now this is the power of frightened officials who are trying, if not becoming politicians, then at least understand what this thing is. And now they are already climbing rallies and scary angrily from the stands, and now they are already breaking pages on Facebook and “trolls”, they even came up with their own tags for a rally on the new Arbat - “disgrace on the Arbat”. And wonderful! Let them open so that no one, even the most huddered, has no doubt about what kind of people are and what their professional qualifications are.
It can now go to the streets of Moscow, this is understandable - to increase the number of protesters, you need a new egregious step of power, a new demonstration of neglect of fellow citizens, which, believe me, is not so long to wait. But this power will still remain the authority of the frightened. I know this well by Ukrainian example. Viktor Yanukovych, who, according to eyewitnesses, does not notice from the height of his height not only his own fellow citizens, but also Medvedev with Putin, did not hesitate to go to tents of entrepreneurs in the Kiev "Tax Maidan" and swayed his own prime minister in the eyes of the protesters. And if a critical many people again gather on the streets of the Ukrainian capital - I assure you, it will come again, and even with his samovar, and will drink tea in a tent and talk about reforms. And he will perform at rallies of their supporters, who will urgently consume in Kyiv for the remaining money in the budget - and forget about the dachas and helicopters. Because for the whole life he was injured and scared by the 2004 Maidan, which had deprived him of power. Because before the end of their political career, they will hate and be afraid of those who can go outside.
So Putin: Yes, the Bolotnaya Square is not yet a Kiev Maidan, but now he will always be afraid of her ghost, even if she never gets together anymore. Will hate and be afraid of those who can go to Moscow streets, who do not believe in his non -alternative, who make fun of his performances and understands how false and futile the political system is in which he plays the role of the first person with the blessing of its creators. It is this fear that becomes fertile soil for subsequent changes in the country. Without this fear, there would be neither the legislative proposals of Medvedev, nor the return of the governor’s elections, nor even the percent of Prokhorov - because Prokhorov would simply wrap them, like Yavlinsky, or they would tell him not to run. This fear will force the power to make new concessions, new and new mistakes - and so on to an inglorious end.
But this does not mean, of course, that this end can be watched by a monitor or TV: no, it will have to be followed from Moscow and St. Petersburg streets, from rallies and mass shares, and then from opposition benches in parliament. Those who go to these streets must learn to be politicians - the new politicians of the new country in a situation where there are still politicians of the old formation in front of them, crushed into the opposition with more successful competitors. But already the new-Arbat rally showed how the rally landscape is changing, how many young people appear who are ready to do something real for their city, for their city. This is generally something completely new, because about Russia as a place where people live, it is customary to think in the last turn. There is more and more about the great idea, mission, empires, class struggle and competition with the rotten West - and under this Surdink for three hundred years, how everyone has been plundered.
And these young people who are completely different from the Soviet, nor on the "old Russians", or "new Russians", but indistinguishable in their aspirations and requests from ordinary Europeans from some Warsaw or Helsinki - they are the future of this country. The simple future of the state, with the rattle and torment of ordinary human values approaching the world. And this world is not outside of Russia, it has long been here, just the old one, the obsolete, the false retreats with very great difficulty - but retreats there, in the same world, where the zealots of the Russian purity and especially the cottage, accounts and children. The Soviet leaders with their ideological trepid and empty shelves were ultimately powerless against this world. And Putin will also be.
