If you look from Simferopol, then Putin, Surkov and other participants in the Crimean adventure may seem immaculate gods who carefully thought out all the consequences of the annexation and are confident in the happy development of the stolen peninsula. After all, in fact, serious politicians could not go to make such a serious decision, not understanding all the consequences of international sanctions, the rupture of the infrastructure ties of the Crimea with Ukraine, the transformation of the peninsula into a white spot on a political map with indefinite status. Couldn't you know anything about water and light, closed ports and dried fields? After all, these are the gods!
If you look from Moscow, participants in the special operation to capture Crimea - that is, the “Crimean spring” - may seem real antique heroes who were not afraid to risk well -being and even freedom for the “Russian world” and “returning to their native harbor”. And it is clear that such wonderful people, having been in responsible positions on the occupied peninsula, will do everything possible for his prosperity.
But the times of legends and myths of the ancient Crimea have long sunk into oblivion. There are no gods. There are ignorant crooks in the Kremlin who started the abduction of the peninsula exclusively for the sake of evidence of their role in the post -Soviet space and the world arena. And what will happen to the Crimea there, they were least interested in. They are not used to thinking in the categories of reality. The fact that it was Ukrainian water that made the agriculture of the peninsula, at least relatively modern and profitable, interested Putin and Surkov in much the same way as their difference between the Sunnis and Alawites in Syria was interested. Because in the Kremlin the most important thing is to make a decision, and not think about its consequences.
And there are no heroes. There are only greedy nearby bandits who believed that the betrayal of their homeland and participation in someone else's crime will bring them control of the Crimean financial flows. People who gathered after the annexation in the leadership of Crimea and Sevastopol are incapable of the most ordinary managerial activity - not to mention making decisions in a crisis situation. Therefore, ministers are changing, cases of corruption are excited - but still nothing changes for the better. Because you can not lead the peninsula and pretend that this is an island. This happens in Aksenov’s novel. But in the government of Aksenov does not happen.
Therefore, the "heroes", stealing money from the federal budget, no longer try to pretend that they trust the "gods", and the "gods" tired from the Crimea themselves, without a shadow of embarrassment, squeeze out the annoying "heroes of the Crimean spring" from the leadership of the peninsula. The former "People's Mayor of Sevastopol" of Chaly is only the first call to the heroes. Sooner or later, the Kremlin will have to get rid of Aksenov, and from Konstantinov, and from other "goblins".
And then, as is usually the case in any decent legend, the turn of the "gods" will come.
