On November 2, St. Petersburg will host the March Against Hate for the tenth time - an annual action against intolerance, xenophobia and discrimination. This year's march, organized by the coalition "Democratic Petersburg", will be held under the slogan "For Russia without pogroms."
The action starts at 10:00. Participants gather in Birzhevoy passage, behind the Exchange building, then they will walk along Customs lane and Universitetskaya embankment, along the Mendeleevskaya line to Academician Sakharov Square, where the rally will begin at 11 o'clock.
The action has been held since 2004 in memory of the anthropologist and human rights activist Nikolai Girenko killed by neo-Nazis.
