On November 30, one of the largest tunnels on the Baikal-Amur Mainline will be put into operation, head of Russian Railways Gennady Fadeev said at a meeting of the State Council. It is reported by RIA Novosti. The Severomuysky tunnel is considered one of the largest in the world. Its length is 15 kilometers 343 meters. It is second only to the Channel Tunnel.
