Participants in the "breakthrough" say that this action should expand the boundaries of the usual protest and prepare people for an unlimited action for fair elections. "We are preparing to take the squares of this city and not to leave. We are going to do it peacefully and without weapons, there will be nothing more formidable in our hands than a flower and a balloon," the press release reports. “To spend the night in the square among like -minded people is quite real! We defended the whole cool March night, and it turned out that it was not at all difficult if there is a specific goal,” the participants in the “breakthrough” say.

Police officers were present in the square, but did not intervene in what was happening. “It is possible that they want the same as us, re -election,” the participants of the vigil believe. The action aroused great interest of passers -by, some of them remained with demonstrators until the morning. In total, more than 30 people took part in the action.

The association of citizens "Breakthrough" called on the day after the presidential election to surround the Kremlin "a white ring for honest elections." Participants in the action planned to hold hands and close the ring around the Kremlin. “We must fire Putin. The white ring will click at the walls of the Kremlin, as it closed on the garden ring. We will come closer, take hands and will not leave until re -election of the parliament and president on honest conditions are appointed,” the association said.

The action did not take place due to the fact that all approaches to the Kremlin were cordoned off by the police cordons.
