
Activists of the feminist punk group Pussy Riot appeared before the altar of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Gazeta.ru reports. A photograph of girls in colorful stockings on the head standing in front of the altar was published on his twitter an eyewitness to Alexander Kashin. According to him, the performance of the group lasted no more than five minutes, from the words of the song he managed to make out only the phrase "shit of the Lord." This was the name of the song that Pussy Riot activists performed.
"New Gazeta" gives the words of the song: "Black cassock, golden epaulettes-all parishioners crawl to the bow. The ghost of freedom in heaven. Gay parade was sent to Siberia in shackles. So that the Holy should not be offended, women need to give birth and love."
The run -up guards in black form dragged the girls from the gate. At the exit, the feminists accelerated and, deceiving the guard, fled. Not one was detained.
On January 20, the Federal Security Service detained eight Pussy Riot activists after they arranged a spontaneous concert in the frontal place of Red Square. The girls managed to perform only one song - "Putin Zassal." The text predicted the "Scenario of the Riot in Russia: for this, Russians are invited to occupy key places in the country and seek political changes."
Activists of the group described their performance in the frontal place and the detention by FSO officers in detail on their blog. "Putin and his team cautiously look towards Egypt and Libya. On January 24, the World Court of the Tver district of Moscow made a decision in relation to two Pussy Riot participants. The court decided to fined girls by the names of Galkin and Schelyv for 500 rubles each.
“Judge 370 of the world judicial site found two detainees guilty under Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules for holding rallies, demonstrations, pickets) and sentenced each of them to a fine of 500 rubles,” said the press secretary of the court, Yekaterina Ilyina. The maximum fine under this article of the Code of Administrative Offenses is one thousand rubles for the promotion participants, for its organizers - two thousand. Ilyina added that administrative cases were received in the court against two more members of the group. The consideration of these materials is scheduled for January 26. In total, eight girls from the Pussy Riot group took part in the action on January 20.
