Khamatova will interview Sobchak

Actress Chulpan Khamatova intends to perform in one of the television programs of Ksenia Sobchak. She stated this in an interview with Izvestia. “We met with Ksenia Sobchak and agreed that we would have a detailed interview, because she had a claim to me that I was silent and did not give an answer to the main question. I myself do not really understand it, but nevertheless I would take on the air in the night, after the performance, I will give this time. And so, when I communicate, I will try to formulate some things,” Khamatova said.

According to Khamatova, she did not expect that she would become a man "whom each side would want to see his own." “No, I didn’t expect at all. And I thought a lot that I was behind it. I suppose that the lack of moral authority in our country has given rise to a situation where even an artist who is engaged not only in her activities causes such a reaction. And this is not very correct. I am talking about the absence of the moral authority that is able to be a leader. Who can go to a huge number of people in Bolotnaya Square or, conversely, something on a folk grief and something to them. There is no such ability in me.

Earlier, Ksenia Sobchak said that she asked Chulpan Khamatova for the incident at Nick Award, when Sobchak asked, actress Vladimir Putin would support if she had not been engaged in charity. “Having a“ give life ”for the first time after the incident, I met Chulpan. I asked for forgiveness, if the question was offended, the goal was completely different,” Ksenia Sobchak wrote on her twitter.

She noted that she was put in a situation where it was necessary to ask an important issue for society, and the purpose of her action was not to hurt the actress. “Khamatova replied that she would not let us quarrel, said“ thank you ”and burst into tears, once again showing that a good person understands everything,” Sobchak wrote.

The scandal occurred in early April at the Nick film award ceremony. Then Sobchak, taking advantage of the right of the presenter, asked Chulpan Khamatova the question: "If you had not been engaged in charity, would you support Putin?" However, Khamatova did not mix cinema and politics: "Ksyush, let's not discuss it, this is a cinema holiday!" The incident caused a violent controversy on the Internet. Many supported the civil position of Ksenia Sobchak, but condemned her for the moment "incorrectly chosen for such a question."

On April 9, Khamatova stated that she starred in the election video in support of Putin of her own free will. “All rumors about the fact that I was tortured, and forced, and put an iron to my chest - this, of course, is not true. This is my choice. Despite the fact that I am an apolitical person and not this coordinate system,” Khamatova said in an interview with the Air Force.

At the same time, she admitted that without patrons in the power to engage in charity in today's Russia is virtually impossible. "At least today this is an impossible option. So the laws are uncomfortable. A huge number of pitfalls that can only be bypassed in cooperation with the ruling power if we want to effectively help children," the actress said.

In turn, Sobchak said that after the incident she would no longer be invited to work on federal television. She wrote about this in her live magazine. “I believe that every person, regardless of social status and merits, has the right to his opinion. And these bloggers who discussed whether or not to make Chulpan to act in the video and whether she had to do this, had the right to discuss this,” Sobchak wrote. “Moreover, I realized, after this story, most likely, I will never invite me to lead the federal TV not only political programs (there can be no question of this), but even entertaining. But I thought that it was more important to give Chulpan the opportunity to answer this difficult question before a large audience,” Sobchak wrote.
