In Primorye, the road built to the APEC summit fell

There was a collapse of part of the retaining wall on the track section of the village of Novy - de Friz - Sedanka - Patrocl, built for the APEC summit in Vladivostok, RIA Novosti reports. The Primorye prosecutor's office began a check on this fact. The emergency occurred on Sunday at about 21.30 local time (15.30 Moscow) near Dobrovolsky Street. The landslide has gone, as a result of which there was a displacement of rocky breeds, this entailed the collapse of the retaining concrete wall of the gas pipeline, the press service of the regional administration reports . The roadway and the main gas pipeline are not damaged. The police blocked the section of the track. By order of the governor of the region, Vladimir Miklushevsky, a special commission was created to investigate the causes of landslide.

"At present, the contracting organization is being eliminated by the consequences of landslide. The work will be organized in 3 shifts. The task is set to restore the road traffic in the normal mode as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the Primorye administration reported that it would not yet have how long it would take the liquidation of the consequences of the pollen," the report said.

This is not the first collapse of the "road to the APEC." In mid -June, a 750 -meter section of the Sedanka - Patrocla route collapsed. The cause of the collapse was two-week rains, due to which part of the bulk wall collapsed and sagged the roadway. After the incident, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Article 216 of the Criminal Code (violation of safety rules in conducting mountain, construction or other works). According to the investigation, the collapse occurred due to the absence of drains at the facility. CJSC "Pacific Mostostostroobostroy Company" accused of the collapse of the designer - the Khabarovsk branch of Giprodors, but the branch accused the builders of everything.

President Vladimir Putin had not previously agreed to assess the costs of holding a summit in Vladivostok at 600-700 billion rubles. “All expenses are generally justified,” Putin said at a press conference following the APEC summit. “You just do not be offended by me, but what are you carrying, what 600 billion? 300 billion of these 600 went to build a gas pipeline system from Sakhalin to Vladivostok in order to ensure the gasification of the Samorye.”
