Next year Eurovision is going to Turkey. Last Saturday, the Turkish singer Sertab Erener became the winner of the competition with a score of 167 points. The Russian group "Tatu", contrary to all forecasts and betting rates, took only the third place. It is, of course, prestigious. But not for Tatu. For the first time, Russia at Eurovision was represented by a group with a worldwide reputation. Therefore, everyone expected only victory from Tatu. Did not work out.

Maybe the song "Don't Believe, Don't Be Afraid" turned out to be too tough for a pop contest. Or maybe they helped ours to lose - on the first verse, Tatu had obvious problems with sound. But, most likely, the girls just lost their nerve. Even at the rehearsal, the Tatu participants were booed by the public. And for an unstable teenage psyche, this is more than a painful blow. The debut at Eurovision was far from the best performance of Tatu. And the experts noticed it.

No wonder England, known for its love for the work of the Russian duet, did not give Tatu a single point. Our loving girls received the highest rating from Latvia, Estonia, Slovenia, Ukraine and Croatia. Probably because the inhabitants of the countries neighboring Russia understood what Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova were talking about from the stage - at Eurovision 2003, the Russian participant sang in their native language for the first time.

So, Tatu failed to break the foundations of the "competition for housewives". Respectable family citizens do not want to sing aggressive songs about female love in the kitchen.
