The rules of decency in politics, world or local significance are observed less and less, but sometimes they are still observed, and Russia is no exception. Why this happens - it is difficult to say, you can only fix individual points. Carefully rejoicing and wondering: what happened and for what reasons the policy of world or local significance suddenly remembered the rules of decency?
The events related to the construction of the Cathedral of St. Catherine in Yekaterinburg at first suggested that the usual perfect lawlessness in the relations of power and society. Nothing foreshadowed the plot of the plot. The titles hired by the God -fearing authorities attacked the townspeople who protested against the construction of the temple in a public square, and it seemed that now the matter would spin according to the usual scheme. Too active citizens will be judged by writing out fines and terms, others will intimidate, the promised church will be erected. The battered flock will reach the temple.
It turned out differently. First, the vice-governor of the Sverdlovsk region Sergey Bidonko, as if standing for both the Yekaterinburgers and the bandits attacked on them, announced that the city "had not been allowed scribes or illegal actions." And soon Governor Kuyvashev himself invited the conflicting parties to his residence for negotiations and more or less successfullyheld them. This testified to the desire of the authorities to transfer the discussion into a peaceful direction.
Here we can assume that the rules of decency in the residence of the governor were remembered for a reason. Firstly, Kuyvashev’s position in the region is very unstable and he does not need extra troubles. Secondly, the scandal with the temple has already gained an all-Russian scale and at least today to continue to stupidly beat the disagreements from the point of view of the authorities would somehow be wrong. Thirdly, in the Kremlin, they probably grimaced, having learned that the cross-bearing army in Yekaterinburg was blown by Russians, and the highest authorities asked the governor to slightly calm people involved in the provocation of clashes in the city. Then, they say, let's figure out who to plant and whom to sweeten, and now act more careful.
So he acts, suddenly recalling the norm and trying to simultaneously affect both the protesters and the bandits, who are led by a construction mafia in a close alliance with churchmen. The governor, without silent consent or active patronage of which no one would build any cathedral in the square, appeals to the world. And there is a hope that a temporary truce will be achieved, but this, unfortunately, does not mean that the construction of the temple will be transferred somewhere else in order not to excite passions, as it has already happened twice . This means that the authorities are taking time and, in addition to vowel negotiations, leads secret. With Moscow, with the Patriarchate, with the Temple of St. Catherine LLC, headed by the Orthodox oligarchs Altushkin and Kozitsyn, who, presumably, drove the militants to the square.
When the issue is resolved, and most likely in favor of billionaire builders, the fact of negotiations can be interpreted in the sense that disagreed citizens were, alas, also intractable. They persist in their national-predicate god-fighting, so you have to beat them, fine, plant them. And again, we will not have to guess about why the rules of decency are again forgotten and even a scandal of an all -Russian scale does not force either federal or local power to behave more completely. Then the world will appear in its former harmonious harmony and we will cease to be surprised: how is it, people went out to protest, but they are not beaten, they talk to them? Since there will be nothing to be surprised.
