I think that behind this denial of truth is the desire not only once again to disown the involvement of the Russian special services to poisoning Sergei Skripal and his daughter, but also to preserve the myth of professionals like a Stirlitz, still living in the offices of the FSB or GRU. Because from the point of view of public opinion - that Russian, that Western - Salisbury poisoners were supposed to be ordinary warrant officers who were entrusted with a simple operation to spray the door handle, and they also failed. But so that the colonel is that the Hero of Russia?

To begin with, this was still not a very simple operation, moreover, perhaps not for the first and not for the tenth time, we learn about such crimes only after the failure of the agents when something goes wrong. The genuine track record of the poisoners is unknown to us how and how many people they safely sent to the next world - and we believe that these people died a natural death. If the same happened with the Skripals, no one would have thought to view records from surveillance cameras to detect “Russian tourists” in the most unexpected places and fake Petrov and Boshirov would now wash the next medal from real Putin.

As for the demonstrated intellectual abilities of the couple and, let's say, moral appearance, then they are just like that, admire. And today people control Russia at the same level - starting from more than once by the densities of Putin or a lover of the spiritualistic sessions of Patrushev and completing the last operative, who is now trampled somewhere near your apartment - Moscow, Parisian or Kyiv. This is their level, a product with a face. And there is no need to talk about degradation, because they have always been like that since the Bolshevik ghouls Dzerzhinsky, Menzhinsky and the Berry were refueling in the Cheka.

Because you need to be a very specific person, an “initiative”, in order to voluntarily go to make a career into this meat grinder of endless terror, murders, and grinding human destinies. You need to be a very specific person in order to convince yourself that the service in the KGB, FSB or GRU is not protecting the interests of the enraged gang of criminals, but the interests of the state - Russia. This may think either frankly manuals, or candid idiots, or frank villains. They do not keep others there.

It is clear that among all this pack came across quite reasonable, educated people with good knowledge of languages ​​- I myself know such people. But the need for such people practically disappeared with the cessation of party control over the Chekist freeman. This party sent Andropovs to the KGB.
