Speaking at the forum “Russia Calls!”, Vladimir Putin said that he was not going to personally interfere in the loud business of “Bashneft”. Plus, there will be no mass reprivatization in the country.
The president, of course, did not lie. He is already living in empires, in the underwear of world politics. He destroys the old world order and tries to come up with a new one. He plays gambling with Barack Obama and an angel Merkel. And all sorts of bustic details are simply not interested in him. Although it is quite obvious that criminal persecution of the largest beneficiary “Bashneft”, the head of the AFC “System”, the rich and influential oligarch Vladimir Yevtushenkov could not begin without a preventive sanction of the head of state.

However, this type of sanctions most often proceed from the highest lips in the format "for God's sake, do, if you can." Well, you can’t - do not do your will.
Yes, and mass reprivation is really not worth being afraid. Throughout the Putin rule, reprivatization has always been point. In specific private (in the sense, not state) interests, even if state -owned companies were used to redistribute property. So it will continue. Practice has developed, fundamentally, it makes no sense to change it.
Putin also noticed that he would like to solve the problems of Bashneft exclusively in a civil law, and not a criminal plane. What was regarded by many observers as a soothing signal (for Yevtushenkov and Co.). Although it is still not worth understanding this category of presidential words. After all, we remember, for example: in the far already 2004, Putin said that the state was not interested in the bankruptcy of Yukos. On the day when something similar sounded, the shares of Yukos were rushed up sharply, and experienced financial players earned hundreds of millions of W.E. True, soon Yukos was nevertheless counted and expelled from the state registry. But formally, Putin did not say any untruth here. The state could not be interested, but the independent judiciary decided in its own way-right?
So in the Bashneft case: if the criminal component begins, contrary to the presidential statement, to grow, the guarantor of the Constitution will always clarify that it does not interfere in court cases, because it is impossible.
So it is, it is impossible. No complaints about Vladimir Putin.
Encouraging Igor Ivanovich
More encouraging for Vladimir Yevtushenkov was, rather, a recent statement by the head of Rosneft Igor Sechin, who for some reason is considered the organizer of an attack on the owner of the System. Demonic Igor Ivanovich (“real”, as he is lovingly called in the state apparatus, in contrast to all other Igor Ivanovichs) explained that Yevtushenkov is not as Khodorkovsky, but much more likely. Because in the hands of Mr. Yevtushenkov there is no blood-he did not remove competitors. More precisely, maybe cleaned up, but bloodless. Mr. Sechin, however, did not explain why, if Khodorkovsky was nevertheless covered with blood, our most humane court in the world did not establish this. Well, okay, we will leave a question for future generations.
One way or another, the fact that Vladimir Yevtushenkov is, unlike Khodorkovsky-2003, not in a pre-trial detention center, but under house arrest, in his Rosnert estate, and the head of Rosneft publicly praises him for business humanism, can indeed mean that the most difficult suffering that fell to the share of the ex-Yukos, which controls the system of the System, will be able to avoid.
However, this does not mean at all that the verdict of Yevtushenkov may be acquittal. Most likely - it will turn out to be an indictment, even with a conditional period of imprisonment. After all, if an oligarch, not even an hour, will justify, it will mean that:
a) investigators and prosecutors were incompetent, which in the Russian Federation practically does not happen;
b) the legal grounds for returning a kind of illegally privatized “Bashneft” are absorbed into state property.
Still, the law enforcement system in us is a single-controlled action, it does not know how to reverse. If a person does not want to find guilty, he is not charged, and even more so they do not put him under house arrest. And if they accused, they will be brought to the end, even in a relatively vegetarian version, which allows the convict after the sentence to go not to the zone, but somewhere to the azure bank.
Take the finished
Meanwhile, the court in the lawsuit of the General Prosecutor's Office has already arrested a controlling stake in Bashneft. By giving it to understand: the honest removal of the company from the "system" becomes almost inevitable. This was indirectly confirmed by the key public intercessor Mr. Yevtushenkov, President of the RSPP Alexander Shokhin. Which now is no longer discussing whether to correctly or incorrectly take away from the “system” “Bashneft”, but only about the scale and form of compensation for inevitable selection.
At the same time, in the consent of Yevtushenkov himself to withdraw Bashneft, i.e. In a love agreement with the head of the “system”, the attacking party no longer needs. This, in fact, became clear already on September 16, when house arrest was announced. The large oligarch is not chosen by a preventive measure if they still hope to agree with him. And vice versa. So the oil company will be seized into state property, regardless of the position of the "house -armed". Three additional questions remain so far: 1) whether the shares of Bashneft will be transferred to the Republic of Bashkortostan or will be in federal property; 2) to whom the state, in the Bashkir and/or federal person, will entrust the management of a freshly acquired asset; 3) Who will buy “Bashneft” in case of its re -privatization, which can soon be carried out in the name of wandering budget holes.
On issue 3, an independent oil and gas company (NNK) is increasingly mentioned, which is led by the ex-president of Rosneft, Eduard Khudainati (possibly in the actual interests of Igor Sechin, although this has not yet been proven). Which, however, does not exclude alternative applicants.
If they agree with Mr. Yevtushenkov, then not about Bashneft, but about the fate of other assets. For example, about the pearl of the System holding - the telecommunications operator MTS. Last week, almost convincing rumors appeared that the Megaactive showed interest to Rostelecom, which is now in the field of influence of the near -presidential magnate Yuri Kovalchuk. Indeed, the Russian Federation now, in connection with the extreme exacerbation of the international situation, its own operator of communication is urgently needed. But to create it from scratch on the basis of Rostelecom, as previously expected, for a long time and dreary. Isn't it easier to pick up a ready -made corporation, which, as it turned out, has been lying bad for some time?
All that happens, of course, cannot but give rise to a certain sympathy for 66-year-old Vladimir Yevtushenkov. Which, although he acted throughout his business life with quite rigid methods, he did not drink the blood of Christian babies - by the way, he thinks not only Sechin, but also Khodorkovsky.

But if you look at the situation on the other side, then the owner of the “system” can even be envied. In all seriousness. And that's why.
Due to the peaceful foreign policy of Vladimir Putin, some Plamerelev businessmen fell under Western sanctions. And, as far as one can judge, they are very unhappy with this matter, despite the ceremonial readiness to shout the Crimean duty officer. After all, no matter how they admire their great leader and older brother, thanks to whom many billions were acquired, their life strategies were lined up with orientation to the West. Where not only their accounts and real estate, but also children, universities, doctors. And, as far as the author of these lines is known, even some of the billionaires very close to Putin are ready to sacrifice part of their assets in order to somehow jump out of sanctions. Then get into a quiet Finnish-Switzer corner.
Vladimir Yevtushenkov, although he is far from the main Putinets in the oligarchic environment, the sanctions were also threatened. At least for many years of friendship and cooperation with fugitive Viktor Yanukovych. Which, according to some reports, the owner of the “system” patronized after the escape of the Ukrainian ex-president to Russia.
Now, the owner of the “system” is completely legally and legitimately appears as a victim of the bloody regime. For which he is not due to sanctions, but the honor and respect of the West. And about his dubious connection with Yanukovych, they will forget.
Yes, for this shift in the image, you may have to pay the best assets of the “system”. But all the same: some of the aforementioned near -Putiners dream of such a scenario, but so far they cannot realize it. And Yevtushenkov is already at the goal. Moreover, most likely, several billion W.E. For old age, Vladimir Petrovich has been postponed, so that the painful parting with Bashneft/MTS will not turn it into bankrupt.
We wish the oligarch good luck.
