The maximum prison term threatening the 29 -year -old American Patrick Saix is 120 years. In 1997, he lured a 9-year-old girl into the apartment of his girlfriend. The apartment is located in a "bad" house: local residents know that a gang that is engaged in drug trafficking has settled here. Having raped the child, Sykes sprayed the girl in her mouth to destroy cockroaches to eliminate traces of DNA, the marker painted the symbols of his criminal group on her body and threw it into the landmark. Now the "girl x", as the American press calls her, is cooked to a wheelchair. She can neither walk nor speak and answered the questions of the court. On April 5, the jury in Illinois found Saix guilty. His lawyers believe that he is not to blame for anything, and intend to appeal.
The British police investigate a series of sexual crimes against children. Crimes were committed in the shelters of South London and Southeast England for 20 years - from 1974 to 1994. The number of victims is at least 200.
After the investigation reports appeared in the press, a woman called the police and said that in the 70s, her young brother was sexually persecuted. Detectives managed to find four men who spent the childhood in the shelter of Shirley-Ouks. They said that in this shelter they became victims of sexual harassment of a hunchback with a large number of tattoos on the body. They called him "Mr. Mark". The police established the name of the criminal. Mark Peter Merchell worked in Shirley-Ooux, where he taught children to swim. Then it turned out that the real name of Merchell - Anthony Wensel Petermichl. Having studied the documentation of the Association of Swimming Teachers, which issued certificates to some boys, the police in 1999 managed to find him in Norfolka and arrest him. He managed to change his name again, and now the pedophile's name is William Alfred Hook.
He chose favorites and offered them to engage individually, after the rest of the children leave the pool. Hook insisted that boys swim naked in these lessons. He made expensive gifts to his victims - bicycles, scum watches, players. The police believes that among the "wards" Huka were even two -year -old children from the younger group.
In his house in Norfolka, the detectives found a closet turned into a place of worship with the altar, on which there were photos of boys and girls. Huka liked smart and thin children. Helen Kenvord, a social worker entering the investigative brigade, notes that for these children the consequences of communication with the pedophile turned out to be very difficult. Many of them have become drug addicts or alcoholics, the majority do not have relations with other people.
On April 12, the court sentenced William Hook to 10 years in prison. In addition to him, 11 people (9 men and 2 women) were arrested during the investigation, and the police say that new arrests will follow.
