I wrote many times that the Russian authorities privatized Victory Day - the only real holiday of our country that unites all citizens, regardless of age, level of well -being, education and political addictions. The Kremlin, in my opinion, enjoyed this opportunity mediocre. That in order for Putin to feel like the main head of the world (when the leaders of many states came to the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the victory and Muscovites advised not to overload the streets of their native city), in order to reproach the West in attempts to incite war. In general, the attitude of the authorities towards the holy holiday was no different from the attitude of those who carefully covers the license plate of their car with the help of a St. George ribbon. It seems that patriotism testified, and at the same time saved money to pay for parking.

But this time the Kremlin crossed all the conceivable boundaries of decency. The present day will be the day of the Victory of Special Propaganda, the Day of Victory over Ukraine. The entire propaganda special forces (on May 9, Putin distributed orders and medals to three hundred “media workers”, not hesitating to give some an honest soldier’s medal “for courage”), he was abandoned in the minds of the country's residents to capture Crimea with a great victory. Include any television channel and you will receive a sliced ​​from historical personnel of the liberation of Crimea and Ukraine 70 years ago interspersed with a description of the heroic confrontation of the “militias” (15 years ago the same propagandists called such people in Chechnya separatists) Kyiv “punishers”. Everyone who does not like this is called by fascists or collaborators. The reception is not new, they still used Soviet propagandists. Remember how Solzhenitsyn was called the "literary Vlasov"? But, I admit, I do not remember that in Brezhnev times, hysteria reached such a glow.

And the Victory Day itself wants to turn on the day of victory over Ukraine. According to the media, the parade on Red Square will open columns of military equipment of the Marine Corps of the Black Sea Fleet. And the commander -in -chief over immediately after the parade in Moscow will go to Sevastopol.

Seeing in the Great Patriotic War an inexhaustible resource to ensure their own momentary propaganda needs, the authorities have taken care of the conservation of the myth created in Stalin's times. At the peak of hysterical-patriotic bacchanalia, the chief chief of the country signed a law that should counteract the rehabilitation of Nazism. If someone expects that this law will allow you to find a council on the zigating black-browned men, it is mistaken. The law introduces a punishment for the “dissemination of knowingly false information on the activities of the USSR during the Second World War”, “the spread of the explicit disrespect for the society of information about the days of military glory and memorable dates of Russia related to the protection of the Fatherland.” If we keep in mind that neither the prosecutor’s office nor the investigative authorities have recently bothering the search for evidence, the law will inevitably turn into a club, which will be beaten by anyone who doubts the official version of the war.

It is significant that the more intensively the authorities use the image of the Great War in their small games, the further they try to push away those who are its participants and witnesses. Yes, tomorrow the heads of the whole country, having put on St. George ribbons, will repeat the words "no one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten a thousand times." The day after tomorrow everything will be forgotten. How safely they forgot about the promise of the Kremlin to provide housing for all veterans by the 65th anniversary of Victory. Four years have passed since then, and the promise has not been fulfilled. The Governor’s suburbs promises to give housing to those in need until the end of 2014. The authorities of the Tver region do not promise this either. 218 veterans this year will not receive housing and will wait for the funds to be square meters of living space by the law. And officials in Kaluga plundered half of the funds allocated for the construction of housing for war heroes. As a result, they lay down the frozen hibaras in which it is impossible to live.

However, we’ll think about whether the bastards who replaced normal building materials with poor -quality are so different from manipulators trying to victory their own service ...

PS, as skeptics suggested, Putin’s appeal to the self -chosen authorities of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions turned out to be a typical Kremlin wiring. A certain “People’s Council of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Luhansk Region” refused the Russian president and decided not to transfer the referendum on the status of the region, appointed on May 11. Now the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergei Lavrov, will shrug and shrug: "We warned that we have no influence on supporters of federalization."
