Hurry, hurry!

Hundreds of people, as noted by Boris Nemtsov’s headquarters, were taken to polling stations in Sochi on April 15 for early voting in the mayoral elections. In Adler, 694 people voted, in Lazarevsky district 389 people, in Khostinsky 163, in Central 318. They are brought in organized groups from enterprises and transferred from headquarters. These are teachers, employees of hospitals and clinics, employees of resort companies and sanatoriums, markets, and traffic police officers.

According to Nikolai Nikolaev, an observer from Nemtsov’s headquarters, he saw four employees enter the election commission and ask the chairman where they needed to send a police car to escort the bus with voters. He refused to continue the conversation in the presence of the observer and locked himself with the inspector in one of the rooms.

According to the headquarters, when asked why they decided to vote early, everyone unanimously answered that on voting day (April 26) they were leaving for Kuban, to the cemetery to visit relatives. In the application for early voting, everyone writes “for family reasons,” and in informal conversations they admit: “We want to continue working.”

According to the headquarters, the Sochi administration released a plan from Krasnodar - 30 thousand people should vote early. This is more than 10 percent of voters. Nemtsov’s assistants claim that the Kuban authorities expect to falsify as many more on voting day.
