At a forum owned by the Farlep-Telecom telephone company of Ukraine, a priest of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church of Christ (Donetsk, Ukraine) for the first time in the history of the Internet officially anathematized a moderator for opposing the preaching of the Gospel, writes PROext .
The forum moderator, acting under the pseudonym r0ar1ng_angel, had previously deleted several Christian articles containing a biblical view of sex and family from the topic "How to seduce girls ...". They said that pornography, debauchery and masturbation are evil. After that, the priest opened a separate topic on the forum: "The Secret of Sex", in which he placed articles from a Christian book of the same name and an appeal to accept Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord. However, this whole topic was also deleted by the moderator after a couple of hours.
The moderator wrote a letter to the priest, in which he asked not to write large postings on the forum, but to give links to them on the Web, otherwise the articles would be deleted by him. After that, the priest sent him an official message about an anathema for opposition to the Gospel and blasphemy against the Holy Spirit:
*In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit!
By the power given to me by God, I am a priest of Jesus Christ, I proclaim Anathema to a person under the pseudonym r0ar1ng_angel who prevents the preaching of the Gospel! May he be excommunicated from the protection of God until repentance and in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, in common with my spirit, by the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, betray Satan for the destruction of the flesh until the Day of Judgment!
Amen.
One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church of Christ*
(Something is wrong with commas, but yes, let it remain so, such as the punctuation of the original is preserved).
After that, the moderator accused the priest of "exceeding official authority", not forgetting to put a smiley :-). To gain public support, the moderator put to a vote the right of the priest to impose a curse. However, forum visitors reacted with restraint to the complaints of the "fallen angel" and advised him to repent.
Meanwhile, according to NBSP Webmaster Magazine, Mormons from the American city of Salt Lake City, where the 2002 Winter Olympics were held, have declared a kind of "jihad" to the Internet.
Mormon leader Gordon Hinckley urged parishioners to stop the evil that certain types of entertainment carry, as well as the Internet. According to the Mormons, who are famous for leading a righteous and extremely healthy lifestyle, television and the Internet are full of sex, violence and drugs, but the whole world, although they understand this, still continues to enjoy such "benefits of civilization." Mormons, on the other hand, see no obstacles to stopping their use - at least Salt Lake City, which, in fact, is a Mormon city, has long been accustomed to the fact that local television refuses to broadcast some immoral programs to major federal channels.
Now these "last of the Mohicans", however, quite determined, it remains only to cut the fiber optic cable connecting Salt Lake City with the Global Network - and you can breathe easy.
