The party leader is beaten into Tskhinvali

On Saturday, Tskhinvili was attacked by a civil activist, leader of the Iron Party Timur Tskhovrebov (

Tskhovrebov on faces-TV ). According to Polit.ru with reference to human rights activist Barbar Pakhomenko, Tskhovrebov was hospitalized with a fracture of the finger, a knife wound of the neck and a concussion. According to him, there were about ten attackers, they threatened the murder. Tskhovrebov claims that among them he recognized three deputies of the Parliament of South Ossetia - Casimir Pliev, Dmitry Vaneyev and Alan Khasieva. Tskhovrebov said that on the eve of the attack, Pliev threatened him on the phone. The attack occurred on Isak Street, in front of the police outfit, which did not intervene in what was happening.

Tskhovrebov recently took part in the Georgian-Ossetian Civil Forum, held in the Netherlands, and signed an appeal to solve the humanitarian problems of the region. The plenipotentiary of the President of South Ossetia, Boris Chopiyev called the South Ossetian forum participants with traitors and threatened them with the sanctions of the "relevant authorities".

The Iron Party was created at the end of 2009, the first congress took place in May with the participation of 42 delegates. As noted by the "Caucasian Knot", one of the questions on which the members of the "Iron" criticize power concerns the restoration of the housing stock of South Ossetia.
