
The office of Mirax Group, which before the crisis was one of the largest developers in Russia, was searched and notifying documents. This was announced in his blog by the owner of Mirax Sergey Polonsky. He emphasized that his message is not an Armelian joke.
The official representative of the Department of Economic Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Andrei Pilipchuk confirmed to Interfax that searches in the Mirax Group office in the Federation Tower in Moscow City are carried out as part of an investigation of a criminal case against a former shareholder of the company. According to Pilipchuk, the shareholder is suspected of violation of Article 160 of the Criminal Code ("Assignment or embezzlement").
Polonsky published a photograph of a decision on the search on his blog. According to the document, the former top manager of Mirax Maxim Vysentsev is the person involved in the case, in the framework of which the investigative actions is carried out. According to the investigation, he "together with unidentified persons", including the leadership of Mirax Group, illegally connected to the power grid of the Moscow HOA "Golden Keys". The damage caused by this is estimated at about 4 million rubles.
Advisor to the chairman of the board of directors of Mirax Group Mikhail Dvorkovich confirmed to Interfax that the criminal case concerns "theft of electricity among residents of one of the residential facilities of Mirax in favor of the physical education complex of the same residential facility." Dvorkovich added that a certain "offended woman" is passing the victim in the case. According to the chairman of the board of directors, the criminal case is "penny" and it is not worth the fact that law enforcement officials paralyze the company.
