The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Provisional Government of Kyrgyzstan, Bolotbek Sherniyazov, allowed the police to open fire on the looters. As RIA Novosti reports, he stated this on the air of state television.

At the same time, Sherniyazov did not specify who this permission extends to: only to police officers, or also to members of popular squads and ordinary citizens.

Sherniyazov also called on the inhabitants of the capital to join the people's squads to combat robberies. He promised that on the evening of April 8, "road patrols with doctors" would go out onto the streets. According to him, the combatants will wear white bandages as identification signs.

April 6, the opposition began throughout the territory of Kyrgyzstan from April 6, as a result of which the Provisional Government, headed by Rosa Otunbaeva, came to power. During the rallies and the riots followed by them in Kyrgyzstan, 75 people died, over 1,400 were injured.

The Provisional Government said that its main task at the moment is to stabilize the situation in the republic, including the cessation of unrest and looting.

On Thursday, an uncontrolled crowd burned the house of the ex-Prime Minister Daniyar Usenov, and also tried to seize the building of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the capital. In the hands of looters, a large number of firearms, including machines.

As Otunbaev reported to reporters, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Provisional Government was given an order to find cars and ensure patroling the city in the dark. "The situation in the city has improved slightly, but we have the strength to go through this night," she said.

Kyrgyzstan President Kurmanbek Bakiev refused to voluntarily resolve his powers. He assigned responsibility for the destabilization of the opposition leaders in the country. “I declare that as the president I did not compose and do not compose powers from himself,” Bakiev emphasized. After the mass riots that covered the capital of the republic on April 7, he left Bishkek and now, according to him, is in the south of Kyrgyzstan.
