Nationalist organizations plan to hold another "Russian march" in Moscow in the form of a procession and rally. This was stated by one of the organizers of the action, the leader of the "Slavic Union" Dmitry Demushkin, Interfax reports. The event is scheduled for March 1.
"We - the Organizing Committee of the" Russian march " - decided to hold the next action on March 1. In accordance with the laws and within the deadlines set by law, we will apply to the Moscow City Hall in the coming days," Demushkin said.
He clarified that the nationalists plan to "go through a procession from the central entrance to the VVC to the Ostankino television center, where, as expected, a rally is expected." The action, according to him, will be devoted to the memory of the Pskov paratroopers who died in Chechnya.
According to Demushkin, the organizers of the action are the "Slavic Union" and the movement against illegal immigration. The majority of nationalist organizations will also take part in the action: MANPADS "Rus", the Memory movement, the Russian national union and a number of others.
Earlier, Demushkin reported that nationalist organizations decided to conduct a "Russian march" four times a year - in the spring, autumn, winter and summer.
“Russian March format, which takes place once a year, on November 4, is not happy with us. And we decided to hold such promotions four times a year - in the spring, in the fall, in winter and summer. Such promotions are much cheaper than police. In addition, we want to cut off attempts to create cloned“ Russian marches ”organized by various other organizations,” Demushkin said.
The last "Russian march" took place in Moscow on December 12 last year in a rally format permitted by the metropolitan authorities. The action, which was attended by about 300 people, was held at the monument to Griboedov on Chistoprudny Boulevard without incident and detentions.
