Columnist Taiga.info Dmitry Kholyavchenko thinks what is happening with a society in which there is no progress, how social reality exists outside the information space and where Russia is moving.
How?
We live in an era of amazing paradox. It would seem, when the Soviet Union, a post -Soviet society with screams, hopes, burning eyes, with tears in his eyes, nervous tick and blood, plunged into all world processes without exception. True, they were already, alas, not modernist, but postmodernist. And globalized.
The Soviet intelligentsia learned that the condo and conspiratorial Soviet power in the total mass hid from us not the masterpieces of world literature and cinema, but women's novels, soap operas, almost silicone poppies and obsessive ads of the shirpotreb. No, the masterpieces were also hidden, but in the total mass of information, which for a completely illiterate and uncultured Soviet person who does not know how to work with information and has lost any tradition of consumption, they were immediately lost. Remember the claims to television of the 90s-they are all related to the fact that the TV stopped engaging in education, stopped even trying to seem higher and better than society, but became real democratic. He began to represent a full -fledged cut of the chaos of the mass consciousness of those years associated with the lack of taste, and with excess information, and with low -powered instincts, for which everyone was also ashamed.
It turned out that a sense of tact and taste for entire generations were formed not by the organic development of the personality and not society, capable of reconstructing them on the basis of traditions and culture at any time, but artificially created deficit in the cleaned information stream. Instead of participation, the presence and understanding of the processes in which a person exists, he began to live with impressions of the information stream. Rather, he even lived a man -made presentation before, just now the stream has become even more empty.
However, the catastrophe does not end on culture. No matter how primitive and patient the Soviet regime was, an idea of scientific and technological progress was clogged at it at an ideological level. In addition to declaring the values of progress itself, the Soviet regime was capable of incredible - to create local communities, a scientific environment, which could even create this progress in isolation. So lived Akademgorodok and various design bureaus. It is clear that not from the breadth of the soul, but forced, for the besieged fortress in the ring of enemies needed ...
When the cycle of degradation of Stalinism approached its logical end, and the USSR broke up, the society instantly and very easily fell out of the context of the value of progress, as a process that creates space and environment. It is clear that at the household level this happened due to the fact that the overwhelming part of the population on the ruins of the rotten empire expectedly moved into self-preservation. And at the ideological level, this progress for the total mass of the Soviet people did not exist in a different format, except for the new washing machine, military equipment in parades and small -containing ideological stamps. Such a total loss of progress, albeit formal, but mass support, is a real ideological disaster, the scale of which is still really underestimated.
The hardest thing in this situation was real Soviet techies and scientists who understood what real progress was at the level of development and ideas, albeit in the absence of beautiful packaging and insufficient experience of serial implementation. It is this that caused the mass support of the Communists not understood by Russian democratic circles by the residents of Academgories and Technically. It is clear that to a large extent this support was caused by the loss of a privileged position. However, it is not worth limiting to the explanations only by this, underestimating the direct association of the disappeared empire with lost civilization, trampled by the barbarians.
Moreover, a Soviet person, completely devoid of normal economic and legal culture, who has lost religious consciousness, who considers morality and morality a set of legislative norms controlled by prohibitions, and desperately implies the surrounding world at the same time on one side, to save him, explaining what is not, but not to touch it and generally not notice it at all, understood progress only as a miraculous occurrence of new gadgets in the daily life of new gadgets. Building prestige indicators at a level dangling somewhere between a commodity bolt, which has access to a scarce Czechoslovak service and in a specially worn boots of an old-timer.
And this is not only an indicator of systemic degradation of the estate society and a separate conspiracy of the values of consumerism with the enemies of our socialist homeland, but also the brightest indicator of the victory of marketing and advertising over any agitation and propaganda in indifferent secular society, which has no vaccine in the form of adequate humanitarian education or traditions.
What's happening?
What happens to a society in which there is no progress? It lives with illusions, allusions and impressions of the details accidentally picked up from the flow. It finally ceases to be a bearer of basic culture and even begins to lose the ability to create a new way by the synthesis of borderline civilizational contacts. Such a society, so as not to die of a feeling of piercing pity for itself, begins to consider itself a separate ideal civilization, any changes of which, including objective progress, bear evil with them. But this is not conservatism, as many people think, is a brilliant archaic, the more sparkling in the trembling rays of the setting sun, the more it heroically opposes objective reality.
And the most important in such a system of values is a carefully permissible ability to live as if nothing had happened and perceive the world as if nothing was happening . And it is not so important what form it takes - sectarianism or painful nostalgia about superpower, from the point of view of the principle, this is nothing more than a primitive brilliant archaic. At the same time, all these perversions are accompanied, of course, by fear of changes, an excess of points of view, purely psychiatric supplantation of attention from the sphere of attention from the picture of the world of phenomena and the unconditional and thoughtless willingness to sacrifice anything to really do nothing. Nothing never happened at all. But with the obligatory guarantee of communism or some other bright future ahead.
And there is no progress or fear of a total systemic lag and loss of any chance of a normal future here can be the cause of a change in the point of view. The only thing that is able to truly excite people in Russia is the life and health of children. But this is not enough for at least some opportunity to break out of this closed circle. And most of the population is in a budgetary conspiracy with the state for the methodical habit of business and the operation of natural resources of an immense country. And this degradation that Russia lives is also dangerous because at every moment in time the chances of any possibility of any changes are reduced. In fact, they are no longer possible, because in the case of a real change of power that came to the management of people, there will be no resources for any progress, and they will be forced to spend all their time and energy on the salvation of the population from starvation. Fortunately, we already have the experience of the 90s.
Is there social reality?
Or are these nothing more than the effects of public information space and mass culture? My answer is: both.
Just social reality exists outside the standard information space. This is a garage economy. These are cottages. This is a real business in services and retail trade. These are educational projects. This is social activity at the city level. This is reflection on real scientific and technological progress abroad. This is a multi -grinding of an ultral -worn society that is born among youth. This is still lively pluralism of opinions among the Russian intelligentsia. This is a culture beating in the snares of state financing. This is a conscious deficiency of meanings and a meaningful emptiness of a secular society. This is a longing for common sense, cultural organicity of morality and morality, faith in oneself, the country and society, freedom and honesty, a place for a worthy life of every person. In the end, even about a real Christian faith, which in the eyes of many irrevocably discredited by the cynical and irresponsible policy of the Russian Orthodox Church.
And in the public information space, we have an invented reality, filled with momentary excesses and intolerance, show and lack of hold, an appeal to low instincts and sectarian troubles. Crimea and Donbass instead of economics and pension reform. Resentment, whims and whims of Russian foreign policy instead of the technological and investment consequences of sanctions. The "victory" of Russian weapons instead of the reality of the war in Syria. And, of course, the constant readiness to live as if nothing had happened and as if nothing was happening. Fortunately, there is no modern illiterate person exhausted by the thickness of the information stream, nothing shorter than the memory that is superimposed on the perception of what is shown on TV as a show, and agitation about the possibility of a nuclear war as a promotion to a computer shooting. This system catastrophe in Russia is significantly complicated by the fact that the main creator of madness in our country is a very weak, irresponsible, greedy, stupid, and impudent state, still for some reason creating a summons and perceived even thinking people seriously, as an actor, based at least on some kind of internal logic. And this is far from the case.
This is manifested in everything - presidential elections that went as if nothing had happened. Neither the country's fall into the deepest economic crisis, nor the degradation of all state institutions, nor the destruction of Russian business, nor state propaganda of paternalism, anti -culture and obscurantism. And now the new old president has taken office. We will have a new old prime minister. And the new "May decrees" that destroy and ugly country and society. And the new geopolitical victories "Supreme Power". As if nothing had happened, and as if nothing was happening.
The upcoming governor elections in the Novosibirsk region will be held according to the same model, as if there is no terrifying garbage concession, nor the absence of any reforms at the level of Novosibirsk and the region. Each time from scratch. As if nothing had happened.
But if you think that I am here now I consider the state the only culprit of this all, then this is far from the case. The whole Russian opposition is sick with the same, trying to engage in populism leading to further degradation. And if this does not come out, then closing into a sect, proud of his own rightness and purity of faith, torn from any contexts of reality.
If you look critically and in fact, then there is no opposition in Russia at all - this is the worst case for a long time corruption incorporation in the system of distribution of public funds, and in the best, nothing more than a declaration of abstract values without any connection with practice. Moreover, the so -called “liberal” opposition is no better. Moreover, there is no liberalism there. Economic liberalism has long been devoted to everyone and replaced by socialist nonsense. There is nothing more dangerous for the future of Russia, although, of course, almost no one again understands this.
The developed, albeit as a leadership and anti -democratic, but anti -corruption protest. The movement of navalists could not formulate a coherent picture of the world even in relation to the place of corruption in world processes. Now it has turned a stream aimed at increasing by any means of recognition of Alexei Navalny, filled with hatred and contempt for everyone who doubts the exceptional leadership of Alexei Anatolyevich. The terrifying left -wing economic program of Navalny, falling out in December last year, as well as a completely empty campaign of the boycott of the elections led to great difficulties in movement. Which are now only intensifying. After all, the most important principle of the Russian opposition is also a willingness to act as if nothing had happened, and as if nothing was happening.
The Yabloko party, whose leading regional bodies I had to belong, declaring that it is a democratic party, held the presidential candidate from the only applicant at the congress, and during the campaign did everything so that even the reasonable opinions of regional branches were not taken into account. Many points of the Yavlinsky program were simply populist declarations and directly contradicted liberal economic values. However, after the elections, no one is going to discuss any conclusions or even discuss. As if nothing had happened and as if nothing was happening.
And similar processes occur in many and many areas that turn into nothing, thanks to stupidity, fears and ambitions. And it is completely pointless to chew this further.
But, if you look soberly, then such a policy is not only not the worst, but it does not matter at all. A month and a half has passed with a terrifying tragedy in Kemerovo. In reality, everything remained as before, the same victims, the same pain and horror, the same system that can generate such tragedies, the same inadequate reaction of the authorities and the inability to cope with problems, and not with their display in the media. It is as if you can plug real problems with propaganda and replace real affairs and processes with manipulations. As if nothing had happened. And as if nothing is happening now.
