all . Nearly two-thirds of American students play computer games, according to a recent study by the Pew Internet & American Life Project, but there is no reason to believe these people are nerds who spend all day in front of a monitor, unable to communicate with people or do anything at apart from games.
The survey found that the majority of respondents are quite successful in integrating computer games into their rather diverse daily lives, and this passion does not interfere with their studies or any other activity. The experts who conducted the study declared computer games to be a social activity, which directly contradicts the prevailing notion that a person who is passionate about these games is a gloomy nerd who is unable to communicate. In addition, it turned out that the predominance of men among the players is also not true: out of all those surveyed, 60% of women and 40% of men played computer games.
