The awards, of course, are always controversial. They, according to one jury member, are, in general, a game that is essentially not much different from awards on a traditional Krokovsky carnival. I mean, not victory is important, but participation. I mean, work in animated cinema is happiness in itself. And the Grand Prix, they say, could not have been given at all, because they should be marked with a movie absolutely indisputable, breaking through the right back, like Dudok’s “father and daughter”. And when this is not there, you can give any good film, especially “Cow ...” - also about the father and daughter. Who cares?

But there is a difference. And it is not only in the extra three-three-three thousand dollars that will not hurt.

The fundamental is that it is - it is pacing through and through - the film at the festival was. And he cost, perhaps, not even the Grand Prix, but of the highest, most prestigious prize named after Alexander Tatarsky “For the Higher Authority”.
