The situation in Georgia is developing according to a very dangerous scenario. According to RIA Novosti, the Minister of Defense Sergey Ivanov made such a statement at the end of negotiations with his American colleague Donald Ramsfeld in St. Petersburg. According to him, the first step to resolve the conflict should be the withdrawal of all illegal formations from the conflict zone.

"As for the charges of the Georgia of Russian peacekeepers, they take someone’s side and biased - nonsense. Even from the point of view of logic - no one accused them for 10 years, the conflict has become aggravated, and they became guilty. This is called to be shifted from a sick head to a healthy one," Ivanov said.

According to the Air Force, the situation around Iran, the missile defense system and relations between Russia and NATO were the main topic of negotiations.
