Leonid Kuravlev died

People's Artist of the RSFSR Leonid Kuravlev died at the age of 85, TASS reports with reference to the Union of Cinematographers.

Since the beginning of January, Kuravlev was treated for pneumonia in the Moscow Clinical Hospital No. 40 in Kommunarka. Kuravlev was checked for coronavirus, tests gave a negative result. After discharge from the hospital in Kommunark, he was sent to one of the Moscow hospice.

Leonid Kuravlev will be buried on February 1, most likely, at the Troekurovsky cemetery, the Union of Cinematographers said .

• Leonid Kuravlev starred in more than 200 films and series. He is known from roles in the films “Ivan Vasilievich Changes the Profession”, “Golden Calf”, “Wiy”, “Beginning”, “Afonya”, “The most charming and attractive”. Kuravlev starred in the series “Streets of Broken Lights” and “Detectives”. In 1960-1992 he was in the troupe of the theater studio of the film actor.
