The Nashi movement, having taken a break over the weekend, resumed picketing at the house of Alexander Podrabinek on October 5 (his wife Alla suggested in her blog that they were not paid for the weekend). This time they announced that they would bring with them a hundred veterans who were offended by his article. Before that, in addition to breaking into the mailbox and constantly calling the apartment, they instigated neighbors against Podrabinek, saying that in an article he called for depriving veterans of their salaries (this fact, as well as the denial of this by the “nashi”, was captured in the Ren-TV story shown October 3).
As Alla Podrabinek wrote in her blog, she was informed that this week “Nashi” received permission to picket only on October 5 and 7. Last week, Human Rights Commissioner Vladimir Lukin stated that Nashi, by organizing pickets throughout the week, violated the law, since they submitted only one notification, and it is valid for one day. Now “Ours” were allowed to stand not at the entrance, as before, but only at the end of the house. On October 5, they really brought with them a crowd of elderly people (mostly ladies), however, according to Alla Podrabinek, they were younger than veterans.
Soon, however, it became known that the human rights ombudsman in Moscow, Alexander Muzykantsky, called the local police department, and as a result, the picket with the participation of elderly people was prohibited. At the moment, there is no one left near the house.
