In the next few years, a unified state information system (USIAS) will appear in Russia, with the help of which the authorities intend to control the expenditure of budget funds. Its creation will be carried out, in particular, by the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications, as well as the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation. The enthusiasm of the authorities in their desire to overcome embezzlement is understandable. But the new system of combating embezzlement raises many concerns. An attempt to overcome another big Russian misfortune ended in a severe alcohol crisis.
