Kinotavr announced the program

Today, August 5, the organizers of the 31st Open Russian Festival “Kinotavr”, which will be held in Sochi from September 11 to 18, called 13 films of the main program.

According to TASS with reference to the program director of Kinotavr Sitor Aliyev, almost half of the directors of these films are women.

“The trend of the last five years has been preserved - a stable feminization,” Alieva said. Another trend, she added, is that many films are based on real events.

The jury of the main competition included actors Vladimir Vdovichenkov and Oksana Fander, TV presenter Daria Zlatopolskaya, operator Fedor Lasass, director Nigina Sayfullaeva and producer Ekaterina Filippova. The chairman of the jury is director Boris Khlebnikov.

Outside the competition at the festival , the film-performance of “UFO” Ivan and Gennady Vyrypaevs about people who had contact with extraterrestrial civilization will be shown. Cast Evgeny Tsyganov, Yasmin Omerovich, Ivan Makarevich.

The “imperfect man” of Marusa Weisberg, “Avvanpost” Yegor Baranov, “Invasion” by Fedor Bondarchuk and other films will be presented in the Festival program “Cinema on the Square”.

The Kinotavr will open the full -length animated film “Nose, or the Conspiracy of“ Not the same ”” Andrei Khrzhanovsky, who received the jury prize at the festival in Ansi, and at the closure of Andrei Konchalovsky“Dear Comrades!” , which will represent Russia in the main competition program of the Venice Film Festival.

The 31st Open Russian Film Festival "Kinotavr" was scheduled for June 7-14.
