Residents of the Moscow village of Rechnik, where houses continue to be demolished, staged a march through the center of Moscow on January 29. Due to this, traffic had to be blocked on Tverskaya. Several dozen cars reached the city hall, after which they were finally forced to turn around and head towards the region. There are conflicting reports about whether any of the participants were detained. RIA Novosti, citing one of the residents, reports that approximately half of the participants in the rally were detained on Pushkinskaya Square. ITAR-TASS reports that no one was detained. Later, the head of the information department of the capital's Central Internal Affairs Directorate, Viktor Biryukov, told RIA Novosti that no one was detained.
Meanwhile, demolition continues, despite the fact that there are no court decisions against some of the houses.
Meanwhile, it is known that another Moscow village will suffer the fate of "Rechnik" - this is "Fantasy Island", among the residents of which are the Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Khristenko and the former senator and presidential candidate of Russia Umar Dzhabrailov. They claim that all their housing documents are prepared in accordance with the law.
