A new protest rally began in the Kopeysk IK-6

In the correctional colony No. 6 of Kopeisk, the suburbs of Chelyabinsk, a new protest rally began. This was reported by human rights activist Oksana Trufanova. Unlike November 2012, when prisoners on a general regime were protested, convicts contained in the colony-settlement section are now being held by the action. “In general, this section of the settlement is not the same as the usual sections of the settlement - there as in general mode,” the human rights activist said.

The action began on Friday evening. After the beating of Dmitry Romanov, convicted by Dmitry Romanov by the name of Yakupov or Yakuts, the prisoners refused to go to the construction. In addition, one of the convicts, a citizen of Kazakhstan, Yevgeny Shchelokov, in protest against a systematic violation of the rights of prisoners sewn his mouth and declared a hunger strike.

In response, the operative Andrei Emelianenko, who appeared to the prisoners of the drunk, and the assistant to the head of the IK-6 threatened to introduce special forces into the colony if the convicts did not go to the construction.

On Saturday, the chief of IK-6 Dmitry Gordov met with the convicts, who recently replaced Denis Metanov, who was removed from his post after the November protest campaign. He promised prisoners to restore order in the colony and punish guilty employees. Trufanova, however, is not sure that the incident is exhausted.

The human rights activist adds that on Friday it was collected a number of applications from prisoners with a request to conduct an audit on the facts of abuse allowed by the administration. She sent these statements to the TFR and the Prosecutor General.

On November 24, 2012, IK-6 prisoners captured the tower in the industrial zone, where the poster "people, help." Banners were posted from the roofs of the buildings that 1,500 people participate in the action against torture and extortion. In the morning, several hundred relatives of the prisoners gathered behind the barrier colony. They demanded to remove riot police and blocked the road. It was reported that they turned the police UAZ. The police harshly stopped the action, many of its participants were beaten and detained. Then he was beaten and arrived at the colony of Trufanov.

On November 26, the convicts stopped protesting. The next day, members of the Public Supervisory Commission gathered their official complaints about beating and extortion. In relation to Mechanov and the first two deputies of Yevgeny Zyakhor and Konstantin Schegol, the case was opened under Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code (abuse of authority).

On December 20, searches were held in the houses of IK-6 employees. Interrogations of officials of the colony and prisoners were also carried out. On December 25, Mechanova was detained. The next day, he was removed from his post and placed under house arrest, but in the evening of the same day he was released under the recognizance not to leave. Zyakhor and dandy are also free.

On February 18, 2013, the Investigative Committee initiated a case with riot police under paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code (organization of riots and participation in them). Earlier, immediately after the events in IK-6, the case was opened under Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code (the application of violence in relation to a representative of the authorities). It was reported that the Investigative Department plans to combine both cases into one production.

On March 14, the first person involved in the Kopeysk Swamp business was detained - 25 -year -old Dmitry Kolomiytsev, a relative of one of the prisoners of the colony. The investigation accuses him of crushing the riot police with his "Lada" of the 12th model. On March 18, the Central District Court of Chelyabinsk arrested Kolomeytsev, despite the presence of a pregnant wife. Trufanova introduced the guarantee of the State Duma deputies from "Fair Russia" Valery Kartung and Vasily Shvetsov, but these documents were not taken into account.

Meanwhile, as Trufanova noted, Kolomeytsev was in the place of events with his wife, who was already pregnant then. In addition, the human rights activist reminded, the riot police broke his car. At the same time, the crowd gathered at the walls of the colony, in violation of the law, began without any warning signals. OMONS, who suffered from the IK-6, was not marked from the car collision. To identify the detainee, not those riot police, whom he allegedly crushed, but "witnesses" were called.

On March 26, he was detained, and the second person involved in the case was arrested on the 28th, whose name to human rights activists is still not known. He is charged with part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code. According to the investigation, arrested together with other citizens gathered at IK-6, blocked the road to the UAZ police, where the head of the city police department Sergey Schwabauer and the mayor of Kopeisk Vyacheslav Istomin went to the colony. The TFR says that with the help of “improvised means” he damaged the roof, bumper and the wing of the police car, and also broke its windshield, after which he tried to turn it over with other people until riot police arrived in the aid of the city authorities.

On April 25, the court arrested the third person involved in the case - 25 -year -old Maxim Poleschuk. He is charged with exactly the same actions as the second accused, in particular, the fact that he “improvised means” broke the glass of UAZ. Meanwhile, at the time of committing a crime imputed to him, his hand was broken, which was documented. Like Kolomeytsev, Poleschuk has a pregnant wife, but this did not affect the choice of preventive measure.

At the end of April, Kolomeytsev and Poleschuk were taken to Yekaterinburg, supposedly for investigative actions. “But what investigative actions can take place in another area if the protest was in the Chelyabinsk colony, all witnesses and lawyers are in the Chelyabinsk region?” Trufanov remarked in this regard. “I assume that they will knock out confessions.”
