The editor-in-chief of the Businessweek Russia magazine Olga Romanova and the chief editor of the publication Alexander Gordeev were dismissed from his posts, Interfax reports with reference to Rodionov Publishing House.
“Yes, they have already been dismissed and have already signed the appropriate notification. Olga Romanova is no longer the editor -in -chief, today she has the last working day in this position,” said Evgeny Polodolev, publisher’s director of business publications.
According to him, the reason for the dismissal of Romanova is "insufficient qualifications to work as the chief editor of the license publication." As for Gordeev, he was dismissed from the fact that "does not have a higher professional education necessary for work in the position of chief editor," Dodolev said.
Romanova confirmed, in turn, that she received a notification that her “qualification is insufficient” in order to lead the “Businessweek Russia”. To the question of what reasons, in her opinion, served as dismissal, Romanova replied that she associates this with “only one” - the reluctance of the displaced leadership of the Businessweek Russia magazine to be involved in the tax and other problems.
“We opposed the“ black ”salaries,“ black ”nala and the like,” she said. According to Romanova, her dismissal from the post of editor -in -chief is "this is the desire of Evgeny Dodoleva personally."
Speaking about plans for the future, Romanova noted that she had already received many "very interesting offers."
Previously, Romanova said in an interview with Kommersant that she was dismissed by a "person who has a criminal record for armed robbery."
