Two explosions thundered in Nigeria

Two terrorist attacks occurred in the central part of Nigeria in the city of Jos on the evening of July 6, 16 people were killed as a result, Reuters reports citing eyewitnesses and local police.

As eyewitnesses told the agency, one of the terrorist attacks occurred in a restaurant, the other was aimed at the Muslim clergyman who previously contacted Boko Haram's terrorist group.

According to witnesses, the suicide bomber crashed into a restaurant in the city center in a car filled with explosives. The second explosion occurred in the mosque during a sermon. Before the explosion, the militants who arrived on cars fired at the preaching.

In local law enforcement agencies, the agency confirmed information about terrorist attacks. The number of victims is not yet known.
