Dialogue with oneself
Andrei Makarevich wrote an open letter to Vladimir Putin. Turning to him without an adjective "respected." It seems that Makarevich was tormented by some kind of awkwardness of awkwardness from everything that is happening in the country, from the mood of the hopelessness of recent months, from his personal inaction and at the same time a sense of meaninglessness of any action and wrote something to purify conscience. Such a quiet letter on the verge of despair. Such letters write on the eve of leaving the country. But still with the hope, which, like the captain of the bridge, leaves the person of the latter.
The letter is presented as a letter about corruption. Although, of course, it is much wider and deeper. And about the courts there, although it is said briefly, it is clear that we are talking about a system that has been born and strongly strongly in the last decade. An appeal to a person who personifies this system. But which, as Makarevich is seen, is smarter, more far -sighted, and maybe more conscientious than most of her representatives. And he turns to Putin as a guarantor of the system, but at the same time the Constitution, as the last hope, as a king-captain, who can still deploy a ship and avoid a clash with the iceberg of folk anger. No one wants this clash. He is afraid even more than pirates on the ship.
What could follow this letter? Perhaps a meeting. Some words. Perhaps a campaign to simulate the fight against corruption. Or maybe nothing is silence. Or something irritated. Doesn't matter. Makarevich did what he wanted and what he was. This is his conversation not even with Putin, but with himself. And he took place. Respect.
... And Putin unexpectedly quickly answered Makarevich. So, the problem is not new for him.
Everything related to the general words that the fight against the corruption of the multiplain and the like that it is necessary to not give bribes and not to corrupt innocent officials, they are common words, compulsory rhetoric, a certain verbal ritual, as sending for any problem to our court. By the way, Putin did not say anything about the court. But if corruption in our country has not been sent out from unauthorized times-feeding, localism, the famous “steal”, then a court of about fifty to sixty, from the moment of his reform in the 60s of the XIX century, still existed. In general, Makarevich’s letter, as I said, is not about corruption, but about the “system” in which corruption is part of it. Makarevich warns: the country is crumbling, it cannot continue for so long, and the consequences will be disastrous, so you need to do something. And only Putin personally can do in the current vertical of power. Therefore, Makarevich turned to him. It is unlikely that he was hoping for something, but, probably, he was convinced of something once again. Like us all.
But what is most interesting about Putin’s answer is a conversation about the mentality of our people. I agree - it is, this mentality, and its origins are deep. Only here is the difference: you can either operate this mentality by constantly rooting it, or show the highest will and compete with it. It was to this that Putin Makarevich called on. And he offers, as usual, to lean on the whole world. But the world must be organized for this struggle. And so - to whom is Putin addressing? Makarevich appeals to Putin, and Putin - to businessmen? ..
Alas. The next call is not heard. We can say that as a wall of peas. Someday, historians will build a certain curve of these signals received from society by power, which continues to show pathological deafness and inadequacy. With all the ensuing consequences.
