Roger Penrose will give a public lecture in Moscow

On April 1, 2013 (Monday), a public lecture of the professor of mathematics of Oxford University Roger Penrose (Roger Penrose) will be held at the Great Audience of the Polytechnic Museum.

The theme of the lecture is “Circles of time: is it possible to see the previous universe through a big explosion?”

In the annotation to the lecture, it is noted that, according to Penrose, our Universe is again experiencing a period of exponential expansion. The life of the universe consists of eras, and an exponential expansion, which completes each of these time periods, becomes a large explosion for the next. Moreover, at the transitional stage, the whole mass disappears, measures and time lose meaning, and Einstein’s metric geometry replaces the conformal geometry of space-time, generated by only light cones.

The clashes between the super -massive black holes that occurred in the previous era make indignation, which should be observed in the relict radiation of our own era. During the lecture, Roger Penrose will give evidence that these outrage really exist, and also give scientists information about the distribution of masses in the previous period of time.
