We were driving along a nouveau riche highway. The sun was shining in the back, heating up the black Muscovite. Inside were a friend driving, his mother-in-law, who was being taken from her dacha to Moscow, and me. The brains melted and flowed down the collar. But boredom was more tormenting when a friend suddenly said:
- And there is the pyramid of hunger.
Theoretically, such a monument could have been erected along the road, say, the work of Sidur - the name somehow evoked - in honor of the 55th anniversary of the Victory or something else, for example, the famine of the early 30s. But ahead on the slope there actually appeared a pyramid - tall, with a narrow base and seemingly made of stone. It stuck out right in the middle of the horizon - the road in front of it turned to the left - and rather seemed like a monument to the victims of financial pyramids and other Pinocchio.
“They say it harmonizes space,” the friend said sarcastically. - The Egyptians can’t, they’re too low and clumsy. And this tower harmonizes.
The pyramid rose about a quarter above the forest line.
- I can’t say that space benefits from this garbage. Isn't this a new restaurant? - I suggested cautiously. The friend was surprised.
- A famous building, they showed it on boxes and wrote about it in the newspapers. There they conducted an experiment: when it was frosty, they put a bottle of water inside, and it did not freeze.
And then they took this plastic bottle outside, hit it with a stick, and the water turned into ice right before our eyes!
The pyramid was built by a certain Hunger, either an architect or a sculptor. In essence, it is a temple-tseretelische. The lines of force are closed in it, good wins, and water does not freeze at subzero temperatures.
The mother-in-law, who had just woken up from her two beloved granddaughters, began daydreaming:
- If only our girls could go there for a week! They would then study well and be healthy...
“Such devilry has been spread,” the friend grumbled, “and no one cares.” But it’s always possible to centrally target some Baptists or witnesses. However, it fits perfectly with all the horoscopes, witches and other palmistry. Monument to victorious obscurantism!
And then I began to remember something obvious, incredible, some kind of program, it seemed, with some crazy inventors, even then, before historical materialism... They showed a plastic pyramid in which razors were self-sharpening, lard did not rust and the iron was rotting... or vice versa... In childhood, my brain resisted, and I forgot all this, fortunately, without believing. And now this is how it surfaced. And the money was found. And considerable ones.
