The first round. Winners

Friends!

Two weeks later, classes at the Civil Journalism School , the joint project of Kolta and the Mediastandard Foundation with the support of the Civil Initiatives Committee and Norilsk Nickel OJSC will begin.

We expected that there would be an interest in school , and we were sure that young and not necessarily young people, journalists or not, would want to study or strengthen in the practical skills of journalistic work.

Nevertheless, we were simply struck by the abundance and quality of applications. Apart from the late (that is, those who sent applications for the competition after 24:00 on February 26 - and there are a lot of them), 255 applications with work in two weeks came to us. Thus, the competition in the school is now 17 people per place.

We selected 51 applications for the second round.

Of these applicants, the examination commission will choose 15 students of the school. The examination commission includes: heads of the school of civil journalism Olesya Gerasimenko and Maxim Kovalsky, editor -in -chief of COLTA.RU Maria Stepanova and deputy editor -in -chief of COLTA.RU Mikhail Ratgauz, journalist Evgenia Pisliynaya and curator of the lecture course of the school Yuri Nenzhin (Mediastandard).

We remind you that the second round will take place from 9 to March 11 and will be an interview in free form.

We will contact everyone who went to the second round to more accurately discuss the dates and time, but for now we are solemnly announcing the winners.

We sincerely congratulate everyone who escaped forward at the first stage in a difficult competition, and we wish you success in the second round!

Hurray - and see you in the next exam!
