The song “Laziness” first appeared on “Celluloid”-perhaps the most famous album of Tequilajazzz, published in 1998. This year, the Super Group, led by Evgeny Fedorova, rewrote it as a slow but fiery jazz-fank-beoevik-as it turned out, for an anniversary occasion:
We had long wanted to make this song with the composition of the orchestra, and this year two anniversaries happened at once - 25 years of Tequilajazzz and 20 years old album "Celluloid", and this is a great occasion. Then, in the 98th, it turned out as it turned out-with a strange atmosphere, unexpected harmonic changes and brutal winds of the first composition of Leningrad. We decided to offer our updated version, to keep the mood of the previous option in something, but to make the song more monolithic-and, of course, show what the orchestra is capable of. This is a typical concert version in essence - elongated, with many improvisations and dance sad, and, of course, it is a jazz with its gloss and outfit. We will send the song “Laziness” to participate in the Tequilajazzz Tribute project - for obvious reasons “outside the competition”, simply to spur colleagues and invite to cooperation.
