Russia will not attack Georgia simply because there is no need. Losses from the war are obvious. This, of course, is not about human victims, but about "serious things" - spoiled relations with the "world community" and no material benefit as a result of the war. Simply put: Russia is not able to come up with what it could take from Georgia.

Well, since no one needs war - it will not be.

In general, the soul of Mr. Saakashvili so for me and remained a mystery. I don’t want to swear, but it is impossible to understand.

Now - Russia.

At first, everything was clear. If the city is shelling where the people whom you feed, you live, consider it to be your vassals, who have once been issued their passports for a long time, then "we are responsible for those who have been tamed." If at the same time your military is also fired - what remains for you? Well, it’s true - fight.

Therefore, at first, “our answer to Chamberlain” was understandable, legal and inevitable (the question to what extent and what kind of Russian bosses encouraged Mr. Koketa-“Well, go, spit from a grenade launcher to his soup!”-remains open). In order to protect their “peacekeeping troops” (by the way, other troops have not been noticed on Earth over the past few thousand years, and all sides in all wars are only “defended”), Russia began to successfully destroy the Georgian military infrastructure. Now the question is - why? What has Russia forgot in Georgia?

Is it true or something, is lugging at the oil pipeline? That is, Russia is inclined to engage in direct robbery-without any sanction of someone-no-there (UN, CE, OSCE, at least the International Organization of Labor or the Nobel Committee), in the spirit of a good fun XIX-early XX century, to defeat the one who turned up, who gave the reason?

Lenin ordered Tbilisi to capture in 1920. Stalin captured the Baltic states in 1940. Khrushchev put things in order in Budapest in 1956, and Brezhnev in Prague in 1968. And nothing, everything was TOP! And what are we worse?

But, let me, after all ... Well, so to speak-sanctions, a country-game, all that ... Yes, and this oil pipeline is ... What to do with it? Go "on the oil pipeline further" - in Baku, for example? So a little to clarify relations with all the Caspian countries (here Iran can ... be surprised, and Türkiye ... will be upset to the impossibility)? In general, we will engage in the coloring of the political-wretched map of the world in the spirit of glitches of Mr. Dugin and Prokhanov and the cries of Mr. Saakashvili?

I am not a big fan of Mr. Putin. But, excuse me, I don’t consider him crazy. He has neither the ideology of world domination, nor suicidal complexes - at least no signs of this have been noticed so far. Therefore, the option “And tomorrow is the whole universe” I exclude. Russia will not capture foreign states and oil pipelines, will not declare-de facto-the war of the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and the whole world, which is already there ...
But if there are no such Napoleonic-Gitler-Lenin-Stalin plans, then what is there? What, in fact, does the leadership of Russia from "unrecognized Georgia" want?

To throw off Saakashvili from the throne? And why is this? What - "dislike"? So what, in fact, is necessary from Georgia? "And who knows what he blinks."

If Russia really does not need anything, then no one will “occupy” Georgia for a long time. They will play - and let them go. Shooting will stop. The intermediaries will come. Then the result of the war is this: Saakashvili lost his face (and probably the chair), Russia lost the status of the “intermediary”, international intermediaries will appear in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, these regions are most likely “disaster zone”, and Ossetian citizens with Russian passports will receive a green corridor and find themselves in Europe! Here you have the dry residue of all this mess. Russia and Georgia fought for the right of residents of South Ossetia to escape from them to Europe ...
